I had a little conversation with Mr. Pawan Shakya, the manger of Nepal Himalayan Map House that after the exploration of West Dhaulagiri we can reach Dhaulagiri Sanctuary from Rauughat Khola by following the Topographical Map. After few days, suddenly Mr. Shakaya phoned me and noticed me that two foreigners who were with him wishing to go the sanctuary trek with me then we decided shortly to meet each other and we met each other also. At the first moment, we decided to start on the 23rd but, as I was to come back ktm on the 1st Nov, we changed our plan and postponed our time of departure to 18th of Oct. Due to the difficulty aroused by the oil and other fuels of daily life in Nepal after the blocked by our neighboring country, India, we paid double for the transportation charges to Pokhara where we had a day rest. Next day, we moved from Pokhara to Beni but, when one of our friends, Joy Poppe (Stephens) had lost his wallet along with the electronic card, we were worried for it. Anyway, he could take loan from his friend. After a small meeting with the villagers at Beni, we moved towards Ji Village and our one friend departed to Gurjaghat from Beni. After around 3 hours of walk we reached the Ji Village and in this beautiful Gurung Village, we took local dinner and went early to bed. On the next morning, with the observation of Dhaulagiri Himal; crossed Ji Village, Pakhapani, Kot Village, Rayakharka and moved towards Dhaulagiri Santuary Base Camp. From Beni till Chhari, we passed 3 nights taking rest in the villagers' home spending a little difficult time. As there were no villages above Chhari for 2 days, we had only option to go camping management. On the next day of our tent camping, we reached Dhaulagiri Base Camp which was very broad with its area. With the sight of Dhaulagiri from the same base camp, 4000 m, was straight standing in front of us; we were amazed to see it. What amazing thing was that I had never seen before such a standing hill directly from this 4000 m elevation from standing point, was such a big hill that when taking its picture seems to be falling upon us. Spending for few hours at the base of peace and huge mountain we took our lunch and moved towards the preceding camp. As the camp was very close to the river, we stayed night in the cave. On the next day, my friends followed way towards their preceding paths and walked from the next side of the river to reach Beni but, I walked towards Phedi- Pahirokharka and after 2 days reached Kalapani in Mustang district. From the pass close to Pahirokharka, we also received observation of Annapurna and few mountains of Dhaulagiri Range.

Considering and taking as a new gift of a new touristic area and a place to enjoy at the base of peace and huge mountain, I returned to the capital of Nepal, Kathmandu. Namaste!!
