The climbing starts from Kali Gandaki River and goes by the Marshyangdi River till Dharabang. Then we will follow a tiny trail along the forest. Thapa Peak Climbing comes within part of Dhaulagiri Round, situated in between Annapurna and the Dhaulagiri Range. The trail is full of snow and glaciers usually.

Major of the scenic mountains like Dhaulagiri I, Nilgiri, Sita Chuchura, TUkuche Peak, Thorang Peak, Mukut Peak, Tilicho peak, Putha Hiunchuli etc, provides a panoramic view. The various passes that we cross through are Thapa Pass, French Pass, Dhaulagiri Base Camp, The Italian Base Camp, Dhampus pass.  In the journey, the Batase Danda; also known by Windy Hill will make the trek little uneasy then we descends to Marpha Village of Kali Gandaki Valley.

It’s a scenically beauty climbing will facilitate us with fine high adventure challenging journey in the west. The trail will be along the alpine forests with many challenging passes. We don’t need to have specified climbing skills but then to have physical sound for the summit climbed.

Day to day outline itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu. You will be picked up at Airport

Day 02: Visit our office for more information and also for necessary documentations

Day 03: Fly to Pokhara and drive to Beni ~ 3 hours

Day 04: Trek to Babiyachour ~ 3 to 4 hours

Day 05: Babiyachour to Dharapani ~ 5 to 6 hours

Day 06: Dharapani to Mudi ~ 5 to 6 hours

Day 07: Mudi to Boghara ~4 to 5 hours

Day 08: Boghara to Dolang ~ 5 to 6 hours

Day 09: Dolang to Pine Forest ~5 to 6 hours

Day 10: Pine Forest toItalian Base Camp ~ 3200 m, 7 to 8 hours

Day 11: Acclimatization day in the Italian B. C along with local excursion ~ 2 to 4 hours

Day 12: Italian Base Camp - Dhaulagiri Base Camp ~ 4700 m

Day 13: Dhaualgiri B C to French Pass ~ 5360 m, to Hidden Valley ~ 4900 m, 5 to 6 hours

Day 14: Rest and Acclimatization time at the Hidden Valley ~ 6 to 7 hours

Day 15: Hidden Valley to Thapa Pass ~ 5250 m, to Yak Kharka ~ 3000 m, 6 to 7 hours

Day 16: Yak Kharka to Thapa Peak Base Camp

Day 17: Rest and Acclimatization

Day 18: High Peak Camping

Day 19: An optional day to wait in case of bad weather

Day 20: On the Thapa Peak ~ 6012 m and back to Base Camp

Day 21: Thapa Base Camp to Yak Kharka

Day 22: Yak Kharka to Tukuche ~ 2800 m, 4 to 5 hours

Day 23: Tukuche to Ghasa ~ 2120 m, 6 to 7 hours

Day 24: Ghasa to Tatopani ~ 1220 m, 5 to 6 hours

Day 25: Trek to Ghorepani

Day 26: Trek down to Pokhara

Day 27: Fly back to Kathmandu

Day 28: Free time or Refresh time
